It was a great day with 6 awesome unsigned bands, all of them putting in great performances.
The raffle 1st prize of 3 night stay at Abbey Peep in Whitby was won by Susan Sanderson of St Michaels food bank.
2nd prize - Tanglewood guitar was won by Syd Holden of Lofthouse.
3rd prize - £25 voucher for the branch wellbeing centre was won by Wilson @venue23.

Unfortunately we have to announce the departure from the band of our good friend and lovely soul brother Mark Deal.
​
Marks' health has not been too good of late and he has decided that it would be best for all involved if he made way for another drummer. That other drummer is Welfare Chris, who recently kindly covered for Mark at the Small world festival and our recent gig at the Red Shed in Wakefield.
​
All involved at The Tinderbox Experience would like to wish Mark Deal the very best of luck with his recovery and hope that he keeps on spreading the love.. love ya brother, you really are a beautiful human being.. Steve, Louie & Ed x

Right, just to let everyone know that I'm really going all out for it with the band. I've handed my notice in and intend to register as a singer/songwriter from the 30th May 2022.
It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down by life events.
It doesn't matter how many times you are verbally slated by the nay sayers (few and far between tbh).
This is a lifelong journey that is just about to come to fruition.
I believe in my son Louie, he is the best version that I could wish to be.. I believe in the rest of the guys in the band.. but most of all...
I BELIEVE IN MYSELF !!!
If you can make it to our album launch on Sunday 29th May 3pm at the Harewood Arms in Wakefield then please do so.. it's gonna be ACE !!!

We are also promoting our HWD Hospital radio live performance which you can catch between 6-8pm this evening on the Glynn & Tonic show.
